pilates | Coaching

Hi, my name is Sabrina and I am passionate about supporting you and showing you the world of Pilates and Coaching.

Leading other people is not only a dream job for me but a privilege. It is demanding for one's own personality and challenges again and again.

For more than 12 years I have been working as a manager in several companies. It is a heartfelt affair for me and I do this out of passion. It gives me great pleasure to see employees and people grow and to witness how they develop.

In order to be permanently efficient, I have learned to respect my body as it is and how important a physical and mental balance is for health. I therefore live a life in which sport, nutrition, leadership and travel play an important role what supports me to a balanced everyday life. According to the principle "do more of what makes you happy" I now pursue my passions - Pilates and Coaching - in more detail.

I came to Pilates and Coaching through a chronic illness and since then I can't imagine my life without it. I have been practicing Pilates regularly for several years. Pilates is a great holistic workout that challenges both body and mind. This fascinated me so much and that's why I decided to become a Pilates trainer so I could pass this feeling on to other people. The same thing happened with different Coaching topics, simply a few years later. Due to my chronic illness, I was forced to deal with different subjects intensively and it grew very close to my heart.

When I am not on the Pilates mat, deal with Coaching or pursuing my job, I find myself in nature, on the back of horses, diving in the beautiful oceans or on a travel to see and explore our gorgeous planet and cultures.

With the mix of Pilates and Coaching, I am going into business for myself for the first time in my life. I thank you for your willingness to give me your trust and to dive into the world of Pilates and Coaching with me.

MY APPROACH

It all starts with an idea…

I have always integrated a lot of sports into my everyday life: in childhood it was ballet, followed by years of horse show jumping and in adulthood I added Pilates.

I love to be in nature: hiking in the mountains, climbing, diving under water or running through the surrounding areas.

Through my work, which is bound to a desk, I have often heard about the many aches and pains of my colleagues and have always felt a need to help these people to exercise more, to eat more consciously and to live a healthy lifestyle as I strongly believe in our inner doctor.

I now realize part of this desire as a certified Pilates trainer, nutritionist and Coach.

I want to encourage people to live a life in good health, to exercise regularly, to eat healthy, to be respectful to themselves and their surroundings, to feel the power of nature and to be able to rest.

One of the basic principles of Pilates is the breath. To take full advantage of this, I offer Pilates in nature whenever possible: whether it's by a river, in a park, on the beach, in the mountains or online - you can practice Pilates everywhere.

I care a lot about quality, that's why I only offer individual, duo and small group trainings for Pilates. I want to be able to concentrate fully on you and your training progress. Coaching sessions take place only in individual sessions.

As a full-time professional, I know how precious your time is. That's why I focus on punctuality and compressed sessions that get you further.

Since my life is focused in Basel, Switzerland, I will offer on-site trainings in Basel, Muttenz, Birsfelden and Münchenstein. Other locations are gladly bookable for an extra charge (please also keep in mind that I teach online as well). Coaching sessions are currently held exclusively online.

I am looking forward to get to know you.

Warm greetings,

Sabrina
